In this video I’m down in my basement with literally all the cloth diaper stuff I’ve used over the years (because I’m trying to sell some, donate some, and just clear things out), and I wanted to share what I actually loved the most. If you’ve been around for any length of time, you already know my number one: flats. Specifically, Green Mountain Diapers muslin flats (one size). I genuinely think they’re the best diapering product in the whole wide world because they’re easy to wash, easy to dry, and they don’t hold stink the way thicker, bulkier inserts can. I also chat through a few other favorites if you’re not into folding flats on laundry day. I liked Green Mountain Diapers Cloth-eez inserts (I usually doubled them up) and prefolds as solid cotton options, too. I talk about why I prefer natural fibers like cotton over thicker “bamboo” type inserts that can hold moisture and be harder to get truly clean. And for nighttime, I loved Green Mountain Diapers cotton fitteds with a couple boosters, inside a cover—especially because the fitted gives absorbency around the hips, which is where we’d get leaks otherwise. I also share a couple potty training favorites like Imagine training underwear with side snaps and the Kinder training pants with a pocket for extra absorbency.
