About This Video

Good morning! In this video I’m sharing my March reading wrap-up—eight books finished (about 2,200 pages), including two non-fiction reads that I honestly think are essential for understanding the world we’re living in right now. I walk through quick reviews, my star ratings (and yes, I’m very generous with my stars), plus what worked for me, what fell flat, and which stories actually had me feeling something. For fiction, I talk about The Geographer’s Map to Romance (fun concept, but I didn’t connect with the male main character and it felt a little YA to me), A Domestic Animal (beautiful writing, but not much happened), and Vladimir (artsy, strong inner thoughts—read the book and skip the show). I also share two Book of the Month picks: How to Write a Love Story, which surprised me because I’m usually iffy on romcoms, and One and Only, which has such a fun past-lives matchmaking premise and an adorable ending. And then there’s my all-time favorite moment of the month: The Lion Women of Tehran—absolutely incredible, so emotional I cried through probably half of it, and I want it on display forever.
