My Book of the Month box is here for March, and in this video I’m doing a cozy little book mail unboxing with you. Honestly, I was more excited about my second pick than I was about the actual BOTM pick this month… and I genuinely couldn’t even remember what I chose, so we’re basically both getting surprised together as I open it up. My Book of the Month pick is “How to Write a Love Story” by Catherine Walsh, which is set in Ireland. From what I understand, the main character’s father was this epic fantasy author who has passed away, and she’s left with the responsibility of finishing his last book—so she ends up working with an editor guy on her late father’s estate, and they’re going to write a story together. Of course it’s romance (I love me some romance), but I’m guessing it might lean a little more romcom than my usual vibe, so we’ll see. My second book is “Vladimir” by Julia May Jonas, and I didn’t even realize it’s going to be a Netflix show until after I picked it. It follows a professor whose husband is under investigation, and then things get messy when she finds herself drawn to a younger man—so I’ll definitely be reporting back once I read them.
