In this video I’m comparing the VSeeBox V6 Max against the VSeeBox V6 Plus, because the naming is honestly a little confusing and there’s only about a $20 difference between them. I walk through the physical differences first—power connector style (I personally prefer the Plus plug with the prongs up and down), the remotes (both are backlit and use AA batteries, but the button layout and size are different), and the box design itself. The Max has that more “traditional” VSeeBox look, while the Plus feels a bit more substantial. Then I get into what really matters: specs and day-to-day use. Both boxes are Android 14 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, Wi‑Fi 6 (MIMO 2T2R), Bluetooth 5, Widevine L1, and AV1 decoding. The main spec difference is the chipset—the Max uses the older Amlogic 905Y4, while the Plus has the newer 905Y5. I boot up the V6 Max and show the classic VSeeBox-style UI, and you’ll notice the Max starts with fewer core apps showing compared to the Plus. Bottom line: both are solid, but for $20 more I’d personally pick the V6 Plus because you get more overall.
