In this video I’m taking a look at the Unblock Tech Ubox 11, which is their 11th anniversary box and it comes with two free gifts when you buy it. In my case I got a mini keyboard (always handy) and a 64GB USB flash drive, which is kind of fun. Spec-wise it’s running Android 12 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable), Wi‑Fi 6, and the AllWinner H618 chip—and in real use it feels pretty snappy. What really stands out is the design. It’s a clean white box with a programmable LED strip that runs around most of the unit, and I actually like the ambient lighting more than the usual front clock display. The packaging and accessories are surprisingly polished too—white remote, white power cable, and even a white HDMI cable to match. I also walk through the front end UI, app manager, Play Store access, and the built-in app market where you install the main content apps. My big takeaway: this is a very Chinese-focused box in terms of language, subtitles, and channels, but it does include worldwide content as well. There’s no monthly subscription fee—you buy it and use it—so if you understand what it is (and who it’s for), it’s a cool-looking, different option that works well.
