In this video I review the Aurzen (RZzen) Boom Mini, a 1080p native projector with built-in Google TV, and I also give you a sneak peek at the Aurzen Zip — the world’s first tri-fold ultra portable projector. The Boom Mini is all about being an “all-in-one” setup: no dongles, no Fire Stick, just plug it in and you’re off. I go over the design (including the integrated stand and covered ports), the Dolby Audio dual 10W speakers, and how the image looks in a real room with some ambient light. I also show the Google TV interface, Netflix certification, voice assistant, and projector settings like keystone, focus, zoom, and ceiling projection. Then I switch over to the Zip, and honestly the size is staggering. It’s only 720p and it doesn’t have an OS, but the flexibility is next level: it unfolds and can project in different directions, it has fast autofocus/keystone, and it’s a total head-turner. The tradeoffs are that you’re mostly casting from your phone/computer, paid streaming apps are blocked via casting, and the built-in speakers are quiet — but you can Bluetooth to a speaker, and you can power it from a bank while you use it. For camping, quick bedroom setups, or presentations, both of these are seriously fun devices.
