In this video I’m unboxing and reviewing the 2024 Tanggula X5 Pro Android box, and yeah—there’s a little surprise inside. Specs-wise it’s basically the same as last year (which honestly isn’t a bad thing): an Amlogic chip, Android 11, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage (expandable), dual-band Wi‑Fi, and gigabit Ethernet. I walk through what you get in the box, the ports, the overall build, and why this one feels a bit more “premium” than the usual brown-box Android TV box experience. The big surprise is you actually get two remotes—one standard remote and one air mouse (airos) remote with a USB dongle. I really like that because once you’re not dealing with line-of-sight, it’s hard to go back. I also show the initial setup, where to activate the box, and where the two main apps live inside the TA Store (Tang is the primary app and Tars is the backup).
