About This Video

In this video I’m sharing photos I took at a new farmer’s market with my Fujifilm X100V using the Fujicolor Superia 800 film simulation recipe from Fuji X Weekly. I went with my brother and my mom, and since it was an overcast day, I specifically chose a recipe that uses Classic Negative—because I feel like Classic Negative just suits that kind of light really well. I’m honestly really happy with how the photos came out, and I walk you through the results so you can see what this recipe looks like in a real, everyday shooting situation. One of my biggest takeaways is how this Superia 800 recipe compares to Fujicolor Pro 400H. To me, Superia 800 has a little less contrast, which makes it feel more suitable for my everyday photos, while Pro 400H leans more stylized. I also include the recipe at the end of the video (and link it below), and if you have another Classic Negative recipe you want me to try, I ask you to drop it in the comments because I’m always looking for new ones to test.
