***Turns out I set Auto WB when the recipe in fact calls for Daylight WB, so please disregard my comment about this recipe having no color cast. *** Let me know what you guys think about today's photos! Today's recipe can be found here: https://fujixweekly.com/2020/04/03/my-fujifilm-x-t30-kodak-portra-160-film-simulation-recipe/ DISCLAIMER: I slightly modified the recipe by accident, so if you'd like to get the same look I did set your WB to Auto +4 Red and -4 Blue when trying this recipe. About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a set of photos I shot over the past week on my Fujifilm X100V using the Portra 160 film simulation recipe from Fuji X Weekly (linked below and shown at the end). I wanted to see how it held up in real life, so I grabbed a mix of daytime and nighttime samples—starting with a quick photo walk at a nearby park with my brother Kenny, then later heading to a new shopping center with Erin for drinks and more street-style shots. What I love about this Portra 160 look is how natural it feels compared to some of the other Portra-style recipes. In my opinion it’s the most “true to life” of the Portra recipes from Fuji X Weekly, and it ends up being a really solid all-around option when you want a clean, easy color palette. For these images I overexposed by about one stop, and I also used a 1/4 Black Pro-Mist filter to get that lighter, softer vibe. Quick note: I accidentally shot this with Auto WB even though the recipe calls for Daylight WB—so if you want to match my exact results, try Auto WB with +4 Red and -4 Blue.
