About This Video

In this video I’m sharing photos I took on my Fujifilm X100V using the Fujicolor C200 film simulation recipe from FujiXWeekly. I shot on two separate days—walking around downtown Creek and then at a local farm—so you can see how the recipe looks in different lighting. I also show the full recipe at the end of the video, and I linked Richie’s full write-up in the description so you can dig into the details. For my settings, I followed Richie’s suggestion and kept my white balance set to -3 blue with DR400 for more all-around use. What I like about this recipe is that it’s a fun option when you want a moodier look, and it was especially enjoyable at golden hour because the long shadows and contrast really work together. After looking back through the set, I think I prefer this recipe when my subject is in direct sunlight—classic negative can do some really nice things with color. I also call out my favorite frame from the day, where the light hits perfectly and the orange top just pops.
