About This Video

In this *ultimate* book video, I’m basically doing all the cozy bookish things in one place: a huge book haul (Christmas gifts + my Barnes & Noble post-holiday sale haul), a little bookshelf refresh, a full TBR cart reorganization, a November wrap-up, and a big reading journal update—including flipping through my finished 2025 reading journal. It’s definitely one of those ā€œwe’re doing a TON todayā€ vlogs, and I had so much fun resetting everything for the new year. For the haul, I’m sharing the books I’m most excited about first—like finally owning the first four Emma M. Lion books after reading them on my Kindle (they’re so thin, witty, charming, and just pure joy). I also talk about adding favorites I already read to my shelves (like The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches and If We Were Villains), plus picking up series continuations I’m nervous-excited to get emotionally invested in (hi, Beartown). Then I reorganize my shelves and set up my TBR cart in a super specific way: priority reads on top, my 2026 TBR on its own shelf (I’m doing 15 books this year because it feels more manageable), and series starts/continuations separated so I don’t forget what I’m actually trying to read. I also wrap up my November reading (eight books across multiple genres), including a five-star favorite of the year (Firefly Lane), and I share quick thoughts on a couple library checkouts—one I didn’t get to, one I DNFed for being not my vibe, and one graphic novel I genuinely recommend.
