About This Video

In this winter reading wrap-up, I’m sharing everything I read in December, January, and February—30 books total. I break down my stats (including genres, page counts, and average ratings), and then I walk through my reads in order, grouping series together when it makes sense. This winter felt a little ā€œweirdā€ in December because I was focused on finishing my reading goal, but honestly? 2026 has been such a good reading year for me so far—I’ve been loving (or at least really liking) almost everything, and it’s making me want to read even more. I talk through cozy graphic novels like the Tea Dragon series (the cutest palette cleanser), emotional Fredrik Backman novellas, and my very conflicting experience with the Beartown trilogy (Beartown was a five-star perfection moment for me, and then the rest didn’t hit the same). I also share some holiday reads, memoirs (including Simone Biles and Nia Sioux), romances with magical realism, and a few books I had complicated feelings about—like One for My Enemy and Half His Age. And of course, I shout out the reads that absolutely wrecked me in the best way, like The Nightingale, which had me bawling at the end.
