About This Video

In this video I’m choosing my February TBR with my TBR prompt jar (which I refilled with some fun new prompts for the new year). Before I start pulling prompts, I chat through a handful of February new releases that caught my eye—like The Wild Card, Operation Bounce House, Agnes Aubbert’s Mystical Cat Shelter (a cat rescue + grouchy wizard situation, which sounds so cozy), The Astral Library, and And Now Back to You. I also talk about how I’m trying to balance my physical cart with my Kindle TBR and audiobooks, plus keeping my 2026 TBR list and unfinished series in mind. For 2026, I’m also doing something new: every month you guys get to pick one book you want me to read. For February, you overwhelmingly chose Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which honestly terrifies me a little (space is not my vibe), but I adore TJR and I’ve been putting it off—so I’m excited to finally do it. Then my jar prompts take over: I FaceTime my friend Olivia (she chooses Crescent City 2), pick an “F” title (The Favorites), let my reading journal/series tracker decide (The Winners), grab an interconnected standalone (Play Along), and finish with a new-to-me author pick that’s wildly out of my comfort zone: How to Kill a Guy in 10 Dates. It’s a cozy-but-chaotic mix, and I’m nervous… but we’re doing it.
