About This Video

Berlin always surprises me, and this three-day solo trip in June was exactly that: calm, a bit more vibey than chatty, and packed with little gems. Because most stores don’t open until around 12, I started slow—finding some water/park scenery, reading my book, and just soaking up the city. With my injury still being a thing (I shared that a few weeks ago), I took everything at a walking pace, and honestly I was just grateful I could explore at all. Over the three days I focused on the “finest” bits: Kreuzberg shops, bakeries, and of course matcha (I always go for matcha, but I even tried something different for once). On day two I went a bit more cultural at the Jewish Museum—there’s a free exhibition, and when it’s free I feel like I have zero excuse not to go. Then it was full-on shopping with a list of stores I really wanted to hit, plus a Japanese supermarket moment that turned into a new obsession: tuna with green tea is addictive. Day three is vintage shopping, a photo booth stop, and finishing with a concert—basically a perfect city break if you want inspiration for what to do in Berlin, solo.
