Welcome to the very first episode of my new series "matcha talk" :) For a long time, I’ve been trying to figure out how to create a relaxed space where I can share life updates, go deeper into different topics, and let you in on everything that’s been going on 🌿 In this first episode, I’m opening up about my decision to leave Copenhagen, training for two marathons, and thoughts about building a life abroad while studying for an online degree and working with social media. So sit down, grab a matcha and enjoy 🤍 *LINKS & DISCOUNTS* RUNNA https://web.runna.com/redeem?code=KATHARINA Code: KATHARINA (2-week free trial) *VIDEO INFO* Filmed with DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and Iphone 17 Pro Edited in Final Cut Pro X Music: Epidemic Sound – https://share.epidemicsound.com/n23faf *LET'S CONNECT* Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/katharinaschneiderr/ Strava – https://www.strava.com/athletes/67275176 All business inquiries at contactkschneider@gmail.com Chapters 0:00 A new series 0:38 Leaving copenhagen 3:32 My job and income 4:05 Training for 2 marathons 6:48 Swimming for fun 7:45 Online uni abroad 9:23 Support drives me Tags Life in copenhagen, Moving abroad, Life update, Lifestyle vlog, Personal growth, New beginnings, Life in your 20s, Building a new life, Work and study balance, Bali, Indonesia, Japan, Online study, Digital lifestyle, Content creator life, Living abroad, Slow living, Reflective talk, How to chase your dreams, Marathon training, Running plan

About This Video

Welcome to episode 1 of my new series, Matcha Talk — basically my little relaxed space to share proper life updates and talk through the big decisions that don’t always fit naturally into a vlog. And because I’m a matcha person 100%, it obviously couldn’t be “coffee talk.” In this one, I’m opening up about why I’ve decided to leave Copenhagen. After four years of traveling on and off (starting with my first solo trip to Sri Lanka), I’ve realized the “travel blues” I feel when I come home don’t really wear off — and when I’m in places like Indonesia or Japan, my inspiration peaks, my insecurities drop, and I feel like the opportunities are less limited for me right now. So here’s the plan as it currently looks: I’ve booked a one-way ticket to Bali for May 11th, I want to live in Indonesia for a couple of months (maybe Lombok too), and then head to Japan where I can hopefully do part of my studies while working with a Danish travel company. On top of that, I’m training for two marathons (Paris in April with RUNNA, then Copenhagen in May). No, it’s not “normal,” and I’m not chasing numbers or PBs this spring — I’m focusing on fueling, recovery, and enjoying the experience. I also talk about swimming as fun active recovery (and no, I’m not doing an Ironman — never, never, never) and how I’m balancing an online degree with building a life abroad.
