Wherever I go, the first thing I look for is a good matcha. I spent a few days in Amsterdam with my mum and vlogged some parts of the trip — both for you and for myself to enjoy. After editing and watching the footage, I was struck by how beautiful the city is. I would definitely recommend visiting Amsterdam in the summer. This trip inspired me to return and explore more of the city and its surroundings. *LINKS & DISCOUNTS* Organic Basics https://organicbasics.pxf.io/POBNDz Code: KATHARINA10 RUNNA https://web.runna.com/redeem?code=KATHARINA Code: KATHARINA (2-week free trial) Electrolytes and vitamins: https://www.supplme.com code: KATHARINA15 Sqaurespace: https://squarespace.com/katharina code: KATHARINA10 *VIDEO INFO* Filmed with DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and edited in Final Cut Pro X Music: Epidemic Sound – https://share.epidemicsound.com/n23faf *LET'S CONNECT* Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/katharinaschneiderr/ Strava – https://www.strava.com/athletes/67275176 All business inquiries at contactkschneider@gmail.com Chapters 0:00 intro 0:15 arrival, shopping, and tokyo tickets 5:01 vintage stores, best matcha and uni application Tags amsterdam vlog, amsterdam trip, 3 days in amsterdam, summer in amsterdam, europe summer travels, amsterdam food, amsterdam eats, things to do in amsterdam, weekend in amsterdam, city break, europe travel vlog, amsterdam hidden gems, where to eat in amsterdam, travel vlog, matcha in amsterdam, best food in amsterdam

About This Video

Hey guys and welcome to a few summer days in Amsterdam with my mum. This vlog is basically our little 4-day city break: checking back into the exact same hotel room we stayed in four years ago (what a coincidence), walking around the city center, shopping, and—most importantly—trying a lot of matcha. Wherever I go, the first thing I look for is a good matcha, and I genuinely ventured out in the rain to fix a “really bad” first matcha situation because I need my daily. Along the way, I share some of the small moments I love about travel: finding a hidden leather goods store and randomly discovering a new pair of loafers, swapping into a new t-shirt immediately because it got so warm, and just sitting at a sidewalk café for a simple lunch. I also show a bit of the hotel gym (small but honestly has everything), and we take a walk in Vondelpark—my feet were buzzing afterwards, but it was so nice seeing everyone outside enjoying the weather. And then a little life update: I’ve applied for uni again. I applied for an online bachelor in marketing (2 years) and Japan Studies at the University of Copenhagen (4 years, physical attendance). While we wait for the answer, I’m also booking my Japan flights because I’ll be going for about one and a half months to run the Tokyo half marathon and see what it’s like to live and study in Japan at the same time.
