About This Video

In this video I’m taking you along on a very real “productive day” in my online uni life — and I’m saying that with a big disclaimer: it’s not a perfect example, and it’s definitely not a 9–5 situation. I’m about a week and a half into my fully online, 2-year marketing management degree, and I show what my midweek routine looks like when I’ve already finished the readings and I’m focusing on personal assignments (I hand in a solo project every Thursday, then we move into a group project that’s due the following Tuesday). I study at the CBS library for the nostalgia, then head to the Copenhagen Half Marathon expo to pick up my bib and a very cute “new pajama” race tee. I also share how I try to study smarter, not harder. I’m obsessed with saving time and staying efficient, so I use Anara to keep notes organized in folders, search across documents, and summarize big research papers with sources linked back for me. And because I’m balancing uni with marathon training, I talk about how running fits into it all — morning runs are my favorite for a clear head, but evening runs can be the only option sometimes. Most importantly, I talk about the fake portrayal of “perfect productivity.” For me, studying only works when my life is structured as a whole: training, chores, social plans, and rest. Uni is a part of my life, but I am not uni — and that mindset makes everything feel more sustainable.
