Remember to select subtitles in your desired language :) On October 14th I arrived in Tokyo to spend two months in Japan this fall. While I’ve already shared some of the more traditional travel vlogs with you, this video is something different. These are quiet, spontaneous clips from my everyday life here, small, random moments I filmed without a plan. I’ve gathered them all into one cozy, peaceful video — a slow, cinematic diary from Tokyo. I hope it feels like a calm escape, maybe something you can have on while you relax, study, or unwind. A new style of video I am happy to present for you I hope you'll enjoy! *LINKS & DISCOUNTS* Organic Basics https://organicbasics.pxf.io/POBNDz Code: KATHARINA10 RUNNA https://web.runna.com/redeem?code=KATHARINA Code: KATHARINA (2-week free trial) Electrolytes and vitamins: https://www.supplme.com code: KATHARINA15 Sqaurespace: https://squarespace.com/katharina code: KATHARINA10 *VIDEO INFO* Filmed with DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and Iphone 17 Pro Edited in Final Cut Pro X Music: Epidemic Sound – https://share.epidemicsound.com/n23faf *LET'S CONNECT* Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/katharinaschneiderr/ Strava – https://www.strava.com/athletes/67275176 All business inquiries at contactkschneider@gmail.com Chapters 0:00 Intro 0:34 cafe hopping, shops and snacks in central Tokyo 2:11 half marathon and omakase sushi 3:52 sending a package, study time and Kappabashi 6:17 viewpoint and StandardProducts 7:26 time with my Japanese friend in Yoyogi Park Tags Tokyo life, tokyo cafes, tokyo vlog, tokyo travel vlog, study abroad, tokyo half marathon, Japan, living in Japan, Japan vlog, cozy cafes in tokyo, omakase in tokyo, omakase sushi, sushi omakase in Japan

About This Video

Welcome to a new video from Tokyo :) This one is a little different from my usual travel vlogs — it’s a quiet, spontaneous collection of everyday clips I filmed without a plan, and I turned it into a cozy, slow Tokyo diary. I start by taking you to my favourite cafe (which sadly closed permanently on October 31), and then we wander through central Tokyo with lots of small comforts: cafe hopping, shops, and snacks. I also stop by my favourite Muji in Daikanyama (so many snacks), and I love that you can fill your water bottle there for free — I know I’ve mentioned it before, but it’s just too good not to repeat. Running-wise, I pick up my race bib and share a little glimpse of what it felt like racing in the heat — tough, but such an amazing experience. As a present to myself, I go for omakase sushi: 12 courses with a drink, dessert, and this elegant, quiet atmosphere where everyone just sits in silence and watches the chef like it’s art for your eyes. In between, there’s study time (because studying is genuinely more enjoyable in these surroundings), a Christmas-present mission in Kappabashi at my favourite knife shop (smart to start early, in my opinion), and sweet little Tokyo moments like school kids that warm my heart, matcha treats, and ending the day with a hearty dinner with my friend Neo.
