I finally got around to building the UCS At-St. Is this the last UCS set for $200? Was it worth the money? You can contact me directly via email at jasonsbricksin5@ gmail.com Follow me on instagram at jasons_bricks_in_5 Checkout my Bricklink store: https://store.bricklink.com/JasonsBricksin5

About This Video

In this episode of Jason’s Bricks in 5, I finally got around to building the UCS AT-ST (set 75417) and gave my quick thoughts on whether it’s worth the money—and whether it might be the last UCS set that really sits in that $200 range. This one’s been out for a few months, but I picked it up back in October at Costco for about $169 (retail is $199.99), and I wanted to share what stood out once I actually built it. The big takeaway: I genuinely enjoyed the build more than I expected. The internal structure is clever, with studs showing up in unexpected places, and there’s even a unique connection using a tire that I hadn’t seen done that way before. It’s primarily a display model—head rotation is there, but the legs aren’t poseable—yet it looks great on the shelf with a nice mix of tiled areas and exposed studs so it still feels like LEGO. You get a printed UCS plaque, a solid AT-ST driver minifigure with printed arms and legs, and a cockpit that’s detailed even if you’ll rarely show it off. I also compare it next to my UCS AT-AT to show the scale difference and why they pair well, even if it’s “a lot of gray.”
