About This Video

Welcome back to my weekly BrickLink store update—Week 25—and yep… hoopty do, sales are back. After a couple slower weeks, I bounced back with seven sales (about one a day), shipping to four states: Ohio, California (two), Utah (two), and Maine (two). California is still leading overall, but Ohio and Utah have now crept into that dark red “top states” tier too, which is kind of fun to watch. For the week, it was all parts and minifigs—no sets—totaling 175 lots and 1,153 pieces sold. On the “why didn’t I add a ton of inventory” side, I had a lot going on: I spent time building a couple gift vignettes/habitat MOCs (you’ll see them later), and my wife and I traveled to Denver to see a LEGO exhibit at the Museum of Science and Nature. I still got orders while we were out, and I even combined shipping for a buyer who placed two orders the same day—refunded them the difference because, honestly, why not save them five bucks. I also grabbed a few interesting Pick-a-Brick wall finds in Colorado (brackets, masonry bricks, and some clear trans 6x6 dishes I probably should’ve bought more of). Inventory is now sitting at 156,725 items, and yes, I’m still happy I started the store—still reinvesting about 90% back into sets so the store can self-sustain.
