About This Video

Welcome back to another BrickLink Store Diary episode—around five minutes, but we still get a lot done. In Week 22, my BrickLink store had six sales, and I shipped to six different states: Minnesota, Texas, Utah, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and a brand-new one for me—South Dakota. That new-state tracker is still one of the most fun parts of this whole journey, and I’m honestly surprised (in a good way) by how many repeat buyers I’m getting. Last week’s orders totaled 62 lots and 1,280 parts, so it was another solid week of steady movement. On the inventory side, I added about 5,000 parts (yes, more PB boxes), plus a batch of torsos from LEGO Bricks & Pieces / Pick a Brick. The wild part: within an hour of my video going up, one buyer grabbed 24 of the 30 torsos—pretty clear they were sold out on LEGO’s site. I also dig into my “backlog set of the week,” the 2019 Iron Man Hall of Armor, and I walk through the BrickLink numbers: about $58.90 average new sale price vs. roughly $86 average part-out value over the last six months. Since I’ve got multiples and it adds 58 new lots I don’t currently carry, I’m parting it out to keep building that eclectic inventory on the road to 150,000 parts (I’m at 143,963 now).
