About This Video

Welcome back to my weekly BrickLink store update—Week 21 of selling—and I’m still kind of surprised (in a good way) at how steady the orders keep coming in. This week I shipped eight orders across Florida, Utah, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Vermont, and Idaho—shoutout to Vermont and Idaho as the two new states. I’m up to about 38 states shipped to now and 127 orders total, which is wild to see when this started as “let’s just try it.” For the week, I sold 106 lots and 1,499 parts, including a couple fun ones like the Brachiosaurus dinos from the Jurassic set I recently parted out. I also added inventory using Pick-a-Brick boxes—good and bad, because those boxes are about $18 and you really need the right parts to make it worth it. I usually hunt for smaller, high-demand stuff like plant pieces, tiles, and masonry bricks, and I avoid big parts that eat up box space. I grabbed a new black bracket that’s only in a few sets right now, but I priced it low on purpose because I’d rather move it at 30 cents than watch it drop later. The “something new” this week is a little segment idea: “part out or not,” where I walk through backlog sets and explain why I’m parting them out (like a smashed Dreams box with strong part-out value) or keeping them sealed (like a small promo truck that makes more sense to sell whole).
