The new venture with Croc and Lego was announced and I share my thoughts on this nonsense. You can contact me directly via email at jasonsbricksin5@ gmail.com Follow me on instagram at jasons_bricks_in_5 Checkout my Bricklink store: https://store.bricklink.com/JasonsBricksin5

About This Video

In this episode of Jason’s Bricks in 5, I take a quick break from the LEGO City layout to rant about the newly announced Crocs x LEGO “brick shoe” situation—because when I saw the images scrolling online, I genuinely thought it was AI nonsense or an April Fool’s joke. I’ve never worn Crocs in my life (these are my wife’s), but even I know what a normal Croc looks like… and these LEGO ones look like someone shoved their feet into a red 2x4 brick that’s square, bulky, and sticking out on the sides. I just don’t see how that’s comfortable, convenient, or remotely practical. The part that really gets me is the price: $149. I don’t even pay that for the running shoes I use for marathons, so spending $150 on brick-shaped foam shoes feels wild. I joke about Idiocracy, Jeff Goldblum’s Jurassic Park line—just because you can do it doesn’t mean you should—and I even show the DIY “Crocs costume” I threw together for my daughter for Halloween that honestly looks at least as good. Either I’m the old guy yelling “get off my lawn,” or someone at LEGO/Crocs greenlit a truly bizarre idea. Either way, let me know if you’re actually buying these.
