About This Video

Welcome back to my BrickLink Store Diary—yes, it’s “in 5,” and yes, these updates always run long, so save your comment, Earl. This is Week 14 of selling on BrickLink, and I’m closing out 2025 with one of the biggest weeks I’ve had since starting the store on September 25th. First big change: I’m moving these update uploads to Mondays because trying to rush them out immediately was stacking my week and hurting my ability to make other LEGO City content. Now for the fun part: I hit my goal of 100,000 parts. As of recording, I’m sitting at 101,264 items, thanks largely to finally finishing the Van Gogh Sunflowers part-out (sets with hundreds of lots take way longer than you think). Sales-wise, it was a monster week—12 orders, 285 lots, and 3,669 parts sold. The headline was a used Stranger Things Upside Down house that I listed for $600 and it sold within 24 hours. Shipping taught me (again) why big sets are tricky with instant checkout: it charged the buyer about $16, but I paid closer to $24 because of box dimensions, and I just ate the difference. I also saw more minifig movement than usual, shipped to a bunch of states, and got some great viewer feedback—plus a really helpful suggestion to force manual invoices for large sealed sets to avoid shipping surprises. Going into 2026, I’m trying to balance store growth with actually building again, because my LEGO city has been a little… abandoned.
