About This Video

In this special Christmas Eve episode, I jump into a small LEGO gift exchange with a few friends in the community—Joey from Brick Trains, Earl (Mardigrasman23), and Alex. We each got assigned a name, and I was assigned Joey, so after you watch this one you can go see what I sent him over on his video. There was also a funny little mix-up where Alex thought we were all buying small gifts for each other, so I ended up with a “bonus” gift from him too. First up, I open Alex’s package…and it’s the most disturbing callback imaginable: a custom “Fabuland Speedo guy” situation, complete with Alex’s face and a “Stay fabulous, my friend” message on the back. After that, we get to Earl’s official gift, and he absolutely crushed it with LEGO-related goodies that actually fit my collecting habits—custom printed Indiana Jones character tiles for display, four Oswald minifigures for the army (which are getting harder to find without paying crazy prices), and a LEGO Indiana Jones Adventure shirt. The big takeaway for me is the same as always around the holidays: it’s not about the stuff—it’s about the friends, the laughs, and the community we’ve built along the way.
