About This Video

This week on Bricking News, Alex and I bounce from old-school movie theater nostalgia (no assigned seats, sticky floors, broken chairs… good times) to what’s actually going on in our LEGO worlds right now. I also share some good news: I’m getting the LEGO police train for an early review, and I’m genuinely excited because it’s a unique City-style release that should be fun to talk about from a builder’s perspective. We also crack into a handful of the animal “costume” style minifig packs and do our very scientific ranking—koala, monkey, Dalmatian, and cat—while roasting LEGO a little for the usual “what’s the point?” design choices (short legs that bend, but still). From there we get into the real Bricklink grind: inventorying client sets, hunting missing parts, realizing the “common” piece you swear you have is somehow gone, and the stress of shipping multiple expensive orders without mixing anything up. Finally, we do a snack segment with a Costco blueberry cheesecake caramelized croissant, and yes—it’s an easy A. If you see it at Costco, don’t feel guilty putting it in your cart… because I sure didn’t feel guilty putting it in my belly.
