About This Video

In this quick haul, I’m cracking open two orders that are both headed straight for my Bricklink store. First up is a small Pick a Brick/Bricks & Pieces order—nothing flashy, but exactly the kind of inventory I like to keep on hand. I grabbed a bunch of minifig torsos (space and a couple medieval ones), 30 total if I’m remembering right—10 of each—and thankfully, this bag actually had parts in it (because yes, I’ve received an empty bag before). The goal is to keep an eclectic mix of parts so if someone’s hunting for something specific, they’ve got a shot at finding it in my store. Then I open the bigger box: multiple copies of the LEGO micro castle GWP set. A viewer gift got me thinking, and a comment from Jabo/Brixar pushed me over the edge—these aren’t insanely valuable sealed, but the part-out value can be really strong. I paid about $11 each for five of them because the part-out value is around $70 (assuming the parts actually sell). It’s also a time saver: once you’re parting out a set, doing multiples doesn’t add a ton of extra effort beyond the initial sorting. Lots of small plates, 1x1s, wedges—honestly, the kind of parts that move.
