A simple Paint With Me as I create a fairy tale illustration, trying out a new watercolor paper, a limited color palette, and going from sketch to drawing to painting final details. This was such a relaxing, comforting painting, and I hope you enjoy the art process! 🧡 Shop & Portfolio : https://www.evydraws.com/shop Patreon : https://www.patreon.com/EvelynePark (Print Memberships) Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/evydraws/ https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/evybak/ (shipping prints to the EU!) About This Video

In this cozy Paint With Me, I take you through my full fairy tale illustration process—starting with some portrait sketches, moving into a clean line drawing, and then slowly building up color and details. I’m also trying out a new watercolor paper (the agave paper!) and keeping myself on a limited palette so the whole piece feels calm and cohesive. If you like the quiet, comforting side of making art, this one is very much that kind of video. I talk through how I approach composition (I’d planned the scribbly beginnings in a previous vlog), what I’m paying attention to as I refine the drawing, and how I push through the “ugly phase” without panicking. I also share little notes about taking it slow, setting gentle goals while I paint, and why I like mixing Golden OPEN acrylics with regular heavy body acrylics for more control over drying time and texture. By the end, you’ll see the illustration settle into that fairy tale mood—soft shapes, intentional colors, and those final details that make it feel finished.
