This vlog is basically me trying to get through Korean summer the only way I know how: by making little drawings wherever I still can. I take you with me for outdoor sketching (while the heat and humidity allow it), a bunch of tiny nature studies, and some serial sketching sessions that feel very “just one more page.” I’m also working on handmade zines, so you’ll see the messy, cozy in-between stages—cutting, folding, testing layouts, and letting the sketches stay imperfect. I also share the art materials I’ve been collecting and actually using this season—especially my travel sketchbook situation (my favorite one is weirdly hard to find outside Korea), plus gouache palette experiments and quick painting tests. There’s a little Jeju Island sketchbook time with both older and newer travel books, and some real-life “battle the weather” moments at art markets.
