About This Video

In this video I put together an instrumental version of “Sommarlovslåt 2026”, based on Brandsta City Släckers’ “Rakt in i elden”. It’s made for the summer celebration at the school where I teach music (Svartbäcksskolan, south of Stockholm). I don’t own the rights to the song, and yeah—we took a few creative liberties with the arrangement, because that’s half the fun when you’re adapting something for a specific event and a specific vibe. I had ‪@SacerMorbus‬ on guitar and vocals, and I handled everything else. The visual side is also part of the project: the artwork in the video was created together with my students in Anpassad Grundskola (Skogen A, B, C & D) using Night Cafe. Credits where they belong: original music/lyrics by Anderz Wrethov, Elin Wrethov, Kristofer Strandberg & Robert Skowronski, with re-written lyrics by me, and the arrangement done by me and Markus Tälth. Also: it was hot. Like “Heat. Heat. Heat.” hot up here.
