In this video, Mara and I kick back and run through our top moments of 2025—no particular order, just the stuff that really defined the year for Empire AV. We start with CEDIA 2025, and honestly, one of my biggest highlights wasn’t even a product—it was meeting you guys in person. We’ve been at this for three years, and getting to connect with subscribers face-to-face reminded me why we put so much work into the channel. That said, the “wow factor” product for me was that foldable micro LED TV that goes from console to a 130–150 inch screen. Absolutely wild. We also talk about Josh.ai updates, including the Josh Edge remote and how real-time doorbell announcements can ring through the speakers while you’re cooking or cleaning. Then we get into the projects: the Treehouse build with a top Houston architect, centralized lighting, voice control, a serious media/man cave setup, hidden motorized TV concepts, and even audio at a second-story pool built around a 200-year-old tree. We wrap with one of the most meaningful moments—doing a full start-to-finish project for a subscriber—and a major milestone for us: getting the keys to the Empire AV Design Center so clients, builders, architects, and designers can actually experience a “smart home in a room.”
