In this video, Empire AV Services takes you inside a fully integrated commercial gym AV project, showing how audio, video, and control technology come together to create a high-performance fitness environment. From the moment we step into the space, this walkthrough highlights the planning, layout, and execution behind a professional gym installation — designed not just to look clean, but to function flawlessly day after day. We start by walking through the facility and explaining the goals of the project: consistent sound coverage, clear video visibility, intuitive control, and a system that enhances both member experience and staff operations. 🔧 What’s featured in this install: How TVs are strategically placed for visibility across workout zones How in-ceiling speakers are laid out for even, immersive audio Why commercial-grade equipment matters in high-use environments How control systems simplify daily operation for gym staff The importance of clean wiring, mounting, and architectural integration You’ll also see how every detail — from speaker spacing to screen height — is intentional, ensuring the system performs as well as it looks. This project is a great example of how professional AV design elevates a gym beyond basic equipment, turning it into a space that feels modern, motivating, and built to scale as the business grows. Whether you’re a gym owner, developer, architect, or fitness professional, this video shows what’s possible when technology is designed around the space and the people using it. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 – Project introduction & gym overview 00:15 – AV goals for a commercial fitness space 00:40 – TV placement & video experience 01:10 – In-ceiling speaker layout & sound coverage 01:45 – Control system & daily usability 02:15 – Clean installation details 02:45 – Final walkthrough & system impact 💡 Designed for performance, built for experience A well-designed gym AV system improves: Member motivation and engagement Instructor communication Brand perception Operational efficiency This install shows why professional integration makes the difference. 📍 Thinking about upgrading your gym or commercial space? • 📧 Email: info@empireavservices.com • 📸 Follow us on Instagram: @empire_av_services • 🌐 Website: www.empireavservices.com • 💻 Virtual Consultation: https://calendly.com/info-0_0/30min 👉 Subscribe for more smart home breakdowns, real installs, and system insights. 🔗 Connect with us: HQ 🌎 (888) 435-3491 Houston📍 (832) 680-6961 Dallas📍 (469) 554-9618 Austin📍 (512) 640-9203 #empireavservices #mediaroom #hometheater #CustomAV #smarthome #luxuryhomes #homecinema #avinstallation #empireavservices #ResidentialAV #homeentertainment #smarthome #smartgym #lighting #soundsystem #smartgym #homegymsetup #smarthometechnology #lightingautomation #wholehomeaudio #homeautomationsystem #lifestyletechnology #smarthomedesign #workoutenvironment #trainingathome #automationlifestyle #realworldinstall

About This Video

In this video I’m taking you inside a fully integrated commercial AV project at the Atlanta Veterans Village in Atlanta, Georgia. We’re based in Houston, with branches in Austin and Dallas, and as of 2023 we’re servicing all 50 states—so I wanted to show you what it really takes to pull off an out-of-town build the right way. The biggest takeaway: the install starts way before we ever touch a cable. On this job, all we had at first was renderings and a floor plan, and we used that to lay out every low-voltage run with intention—what cable, where it goes, and what it’s responsible for. I break down the logistics, design, and execution that make a commercial space function flawlessly day after day. Me and Mario did onsite walkthroughs before cabling, coordinated with trades like electricians to ensure power is where it needs to be, and used pre-construction brackets so other crews left us the right openings for clean installs. We also pre-build, program, and test our racks before shipping or flying them in, so the system is stable before it ever hits the building. After install, we lean on tools like Google Meets for training and support, and we prioritize remote serviceability so most issues are one call—and often one power cycle—away from being resolved.
