About This Video

This home didn’t start like this—it started with open studs, thousands of feet of wire, and a vision. In this walkthrough I’m showing you the final reveal of a luxury smart home we built around entertaining, clean aesthetics, and real integration. We start in the main living room with a hidden 75” flip-out TV built into custom millwork, Roku integrated into the system, and a 5.1 setup using small-aperture in-ceiling speakers plus an in-wall subwoofer—all controlled from a T4 touchscreen. From there I break down what centralized lighting actually means in the real world: less wall acne, fewer keypads, and one engraved smart keypad that can run the whole room—or the whole house—using scenes like “Relaxing.” You’ll see accent lighting everywhere (toe-kick, cabinets, pendants), indoor/outdoor audio on the patio with Wi‑Fi coverage, and voice control with Josh.ai. Then we jump into my favorite entertaining space: a 133” short-throw laser projector on an ambient light rejecting screen, plus dual 65” displays with independent routing back to the rack. To wrap it up, I take you into the “brain” of the home—the rack with network, power, cooling, amps, and centralized lighting panels—because none of this works without planning it early. That’s the big takeaway: design first, wire it right, and the final result looks effortless.
