The big win with the Edge Remote is the form factor. Their previous remote was a larger touchscreen and it did a lot, but sometimes you want something smaller—more like an Apple TV remote—while still keeping the magic that makes Josh special: voice. I break down the simple button layout (lighting, shades, audio, plus customizable buttons for audio/video scenes) and the dedicated voice button that lets me send commands to the whole house.
