Yep, it’s true — I do have a confession… but it’s probably not what you think. For the longest, I’ve been on a consistent grind of business, business, business. The freelancing side, the client work, the entrepreneur moves… and I realized I’ve lowkey been neglecting the creative side. And if I’m being honest, it’s starting to feel like burnout. Like I’m starting to hate filmmaking in a way, because I didn’t pick up a camera just to be in the back of a room filming somebody talk about AI or real estate all day. In this video I’m talking about how I used to drop short films on this channel and I had a blast doing it — that’s the reason I love filmmaking. But the biggest issue? My FX6. It’s a dream camera for a lot of people (and I love it for freelance jobs), but for solo content creation it’s too big, too hefty, and just not fun to rig for random situations. So I picked up a new camera and I’m testing it right now in this video (ND filter on the way). The whole point is: I’m trying to get creative again, be a little rebellious, and stop feeling like I have to follow every “traditional rule” to make something look good.
