In this video I’m showing you a raw, authentic day in the life of me being a full-time freelance videographer. I’m not out here doing extra stuff just for the camera — this is literally my normal routine. I start early, make coffee, then I knock out my “computer work” first thing in the morning: checking emails, seeing if any sponsorships came in, and scrolling ProductionHUB for gigs. I also talk through how I think about booking jobs months out (I personally don’t love locking myself in too far ahead), and I show you exactly how fast those ProductionHUB opportunities can get filled if you don’t jump on them immediately. I also get into the mindset side of freelancing — the location freedom and time freedom is a big reason I chose this path. Sometimes I’ll take my work to the park because sitting in a small office editing for 8–10 hours can feel claustrophobic, and I just work better when I can breathe and reset outside. Then I briefly show the other side of my income: testing an e-commerce product with paid ads, how quickly you can go negative, and why I’m willing to shut something down and move on when the profit margins aren’t there. The biggest takeaway: stay ready, move fast on leads, and don’t romanticize the grind — it’s work, but the freedom is worth it if you stick with it.
