In this video I’m walking you through a certified RV inspection on a 2023 Alliance Paradigm that looked nearly flawless at first glance. My clients hired me because they were worried it was a COVID-era build (built in 2022), and I get it—parts shortages and labor gaps were real, and quality just wasn’t always the same. The rig was set up great for the inspection (power, water, propane, sewer), and overall it looked well cared for… but a couple things just didn’t sit right with me. Up on the roof, the sealant looked mint, but I found a small tear in the rubber roofing—about thumbnail-sized. And I’ll say it again: water can get in a pinhole. With all the rain we’ve had in Colorado lately, that kind of defect matters even if you don’t feel softness yet. Then at the curb-side slide, I saw suspicious trim at the lower corner near the slide floor—pushed out, not sealed, and leaving an opening where water could absolutely work its way in. Here’s the twist: my client later found an old video online from the prior owners showing water intrusion in that exact dining room area. That completed the story, and my clients walked away. This is exactly why I tell people: even “beautiful” rigs need a real inspection.
