🚐 Can you trust an RV dealership? In today’s video, I’m sharing a refreshingly positive experience I had inspecting a brand new 2025 Ember Overland travel trailer at a woman-owned dealership in Colorado. The sales process was smooth, the RV was ready, and everything seemed perfect… almost. 😬 Even with great service and a top-notch boondocking setup (hello, Victron Multiplus and 7 solar panels!), I still found one problem during the inspection — a cycling water pump that could lead to bigger issues down the road. 🎯 This is exactly why RV inspections matter, even when the dealership seems trustworthy. I’ll walk you through the issue I found and highlight why even brand-new rigs need a second set of eyes. 🛠️ 💥 DIY RV Inspection Workbook – FINAL DAY! About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a refreshingly positive dealership experience—yes, they do exist—but I’m also showing you why I still recommend an RV inspection every single time. I inspected a brand new 2025 Ember Overland travel trailer (my first time seeing one) and overall it was a really neat rig, especially if you’re a Colorado-style “get up into the mountains and boondock” kind of camper. This one had the Victron Multiplus, seven solar panels on the roof (so many I couldn’t even get up there), big tires, and high clearance for getting farther back into the woods. Inside, everything was in great shape: a Murphy bed that doubles as seating, a flexible back area that can be a bed/office/toy hauler space, and those European windows (I used to own a Tab, so I’m a fan). But even with a smooth sales process and the RV ready to go at Windish RV Center (woman-owned, and they were incredible), I still found a problem: the water pump was cycling. That can point to a leak or a pump that’s starting to fail, and their tech told me they’ve been seeing issues with those pumps. My takeaway is simple—having that “other set of eyes” before you leave the lot can save you from turning your first trip into a turnaround back to the dealership.
