About This Video

When I was out in Washington, one of the best “projects” I tackled was finally getting my tiny-car tool situation under control—because I’m honestly no good at organizing. Kylen helped me pull everything out of my car, we went shopping, and we built a Milwaukee Packout-style setup so my tools are neat, efficient, and easy to access when I’m headed to an RV inspection or a repair job. In this video I show you how I’m separating my inspection gear from my repair gear, using drawer packouts so I can open the whole drawer, grab what I need, and slide it right back in. The ladder was a constant source of anger for me (it was clunky and ate up space), so we figured out a simple way to slide it in and out by myself. I also show the side-mounted drill holders and my battery setup (M12 rack now, and I still want a solution for my M18s). And one of my favorite little hacks: a clear towel box with a hole cut in it so I can grab a towel fast on any job. The end result is night-and-day—what used to be a disaster is now organized and ready to work.
