If you’ve got a Bambu Lab A1 and you’ve been eyeing a safety enclosure, this video is me walking you through my exact setup—warts and all. I did a lot of trial and error based on what I read and what other folks were doing, and I’m showing you what finally worked for me: starting at the bottom (vibration) and working all the way up to the AMS Lite and fire safety. I’m using the Printed Solid Next Gen CR-10 style enclosure because I wanted the vertical clearance the A1 needs as it gets tall—especially with the AMS adapter situation up top. For vibration, the cheapest win in the whole build is a 12x12x1 inch concrete paver stone from Lowe’s. On my setup it knocked down about 80% of the shaking and stopped the “rattling like it’s trying to free itself” behavior you get with a bed slinger. Inside the enclosure I’m also running a Voxel Bento Box for air filtration to help deal with VOCs, and up on the ceiling I added a simple under-cabinet LED light bar because I got tired of LED strip glue failing over time. Then there’s the fun part: the AMS Lite. I tried it beside the enclosure first and I got a ton of false feed alerts because the A1 is fussy about PTFE routing and friction. Putting the AMS on top fixed filament path issues, but it required an extension cable and careful PTFE measuring/cutting. And yes—print safe: I’m using a Wham Bam Sentry and (in some enclosures) BlazeCut, because I want every possible layer of mitigation in my print cave.
