In this video, I show you exactly how selling works in Hogwarts Legacy—whether you’re trying to offload gear, random items, or the magical beasts you’ve captured. I keep it simple and step-by-step, because the game treats beasts differently from everything else, and that’s where most people get stuck. First, I walk you through selling beasts. You need to capture a beast first, then head over to Hogsmeade and go to the Brood and Peck shop—this is the only place where you can sell magical beasts. Once you’re inside, talk to Ellie Peck, switch to the beasts section (I use R1), and then you can hold X to sell the beasts you’ve got. After that, I cover selling gear and other items. For this, you can use basically any regular shop in Hogsmeade—like Gladrags Wizardwear, J. Pippin’s Potions, The Magic Neep, Dogweed and Deathcap, or Spintwitches Sporting Needs. Just go to the sell items tab (again, R1) and sell whatever you don’t need. That’s it—beasts only at Brood and Peck, and gear/items at pretty much any other shop.
