In this video, I show you how to integrate Microsoft Planner with SharePoint Online so you can manage tasks directly inside a SharePoint site. I start by jumping into SharePoint and opening a site (I use a simple example site I created called “planner site”). From there, it’s literally just a few clicks to add Planner into the site so your team can track progress without bouncing between different apps. I walk you through clicking the plus icon to add a new item, selecting “Plan,” and then choosing whether you want to use an existing plan or create a brand-new one. I create a new plan (like “progress plan”) and keep “Show in site navigation” ticked so it appears in the left navigation. Once it’s created, you’ll see a full Planner board embedded in SharePoint, where you can add tasks (like “prepare documents”), set due dates, and assign tasks to people in your site. The takeaway is simple: you end up with a clean board system right inside SharePoint that makes it easier to track your team’s work in one place.
