In this video, I show you exactly how to play Heartopia with friends by using the in-game world system and your UID. Heartopia drops you into a specific world (with a set number of players), so the first thing I do is open the map (press M) to see who’s in my world and check the world number. After that, I walk you through finding your own UID by pressing Tab, opening your profile, and copying the UID you’ll need for invites. Next, I cover how to actually add friends using the Friendship Journal. I open the watch, go into the Friendship Journal, and use the search icon to type in a friend’s UID and add them. If you don’t see the Friendship Journal yet, it simply means you need to level up by completing quests first. Finally, I show how to meet up and play together. If your friend is online, you can select them and hit “Visit” to go to their town (and confirm). If they’re online and on the same map/seed, you can transfer over and hang out—do high fives, use different emotions, and even send postcards with a message through the mail option.
