The main thing you need to know is you can’t just adopt straight away—you first need to hit Level 12. To get there, I recommend focusing on completing your daily requests, because that’s what helps you level up consistently until you unlock the pet-care option. Once you’re Level 12, you’ll be able to submit a hobby extension ticket to Mrs. Joan to learn cat caring (and dog caring too). After that, I walk you through the adoption part: talk to Mrs. Joan, confirm you want to adopt, and hand over one hobby expansion/extension ticket. Then you simply interact with the kittens available, check their info like breed, gender, and personality, and choose the one you want. Finally, you hit adopt, give your cat a name, confirm it, and you’re done—your new pet cat is added.
