In this video, I show you exactly how fishing works in Heartopia/Harttopia from start to finish, without any fluff. The first thing you need is a fishing rod, and you don’t just get it instantly—you have to progress the mission until you can help Vana repair her fishing gear. Once you repair it, she gives you fishing gear you can actually use. After that, I walk you through equipping it properly: open the toolbox (or press T) and select the fishing rod to equip it. Then head to any body of water and cast your line. If you want to be accurate—like throwing right next to a fish—hold to aim and guide the position before you throw. When a fish bites, press F to reel it in, but pay attention to the line color: if it shifts from yellow/white to red, you need to release a bit or your line will snap. I also show what happens when you don’t release in time, so you can avoid losing fish and keep catching them consistently.
