In this video, I show you how to find missing side quests in Hogwarts Legacy when they’re not showing up in your side quest menu yet. As you level up and progress, side quests can be available in the world, but you still have to actually discover them before they appear in your quest list. I quickly compare what you see in the Quests menu versus what’s already waiting for you out on the map. The main trick is simple: open your map and look for the black flag icons. Those flags indicate there’s a side quest available in that area, even if it’s not currently listed under your side quests. I use Hogsmeade as an example and point out the quest marker (with the shield-style icon) for “Take the Biscuit,” which wasn’t showing in my quest menu until I went to the location. Once you travel there and speak to the person who starts it, the quest unlocks and you can continue as normal. My takeaway: explore the world, talk to NPCs, and keep pushing the main story too—because that’s how you open up even more side quests.
