In this video, I show you exactly how to change your avatar in Heartopia, including your hairstyle, skin color, and other facial details. The main trick is knowing where to go: I head into Town, find the shop, walk all the way inside, and then go upstairs to the vanity mirror. Once you interact with the mirror, you’ll get the character appearance screen where you can remove things like face decor, switch your skin tone, change hairstyles, and tweak other bits like eyebrows. After you’re happy with the look, I explain that you’ll need to hit Purchase to apply the changes. I also cover how to change your outfit using the Clothing tab and the Dress Up option, where you can swap items like tops, bottoms, socks, jumpsuits, shoes, and headgear. One important note: the Dress Up button unlocks as you progress through the main quest, so if you don’t see it yet, you’ll need to keep doing missions until it becomes available.
