In this video, I show you exactly how bird watching works in Heartopia (Harttopia) from start to finish. The first thing you need is the hobby itself, because bird watching isn’t available until you unlock it with a hobby ticket. When you first unlock a hobby you can pick between cooking, insect catching, or bird watching, and if you already picked something else (like I did with cooking), you’ll need to level up until you get another hobby expansion ticket. Once you’ve got that ticket, I walk you to Bailey J, the bird watching mentor. You just chat with her, confirm you want to learn bird watching, hand over the hobby expansion ticket, and submit—then you’re officially unlocked. After that, bird watching is simple: open your tools (I press T) and equip the binoculars. From there, I show you how to tag and capture birds (press F), how zooming works, and how your star rating improves when the bird is doing an action (like chirping) instead of just sitting idle. By the end, you’ll know how to unlock birds like the European Robin and get better captures consistently.
