I start by opening a browser, searching “Sainsbury’s jobs,” and heading into the main results. From there, I use the “Search and apply” option and walk you through filtering roles by location, professional area, or even a specific job name if you already know what you’re looking for. I also show you what to check before you apply—things like whether the role is fixed-term or permanent, the pay rate, location, hours, and the closing date. Once you click into a role (I use a Trading Assistant example), you can read what they’re looking for, the eligibility requirements, your expected duties, and the benefits/rewards. When you’re ready, you hit “Apply,” create an account if you don’t have one, and fill in the required fields (anything with an asterisk). After that, you’ll answer application questions like right to work, ability to lift up to 15kg, age, and relevant skills, then add details like your address, proof of right to work, CV, and phone number. Finally, you submit and look out for an email confirmation and a call if you’re shortlisted for next steps or interviews.
