In this video, I’m showing you exactly how to find the entrance to Percival Rackham’s First Trial in Hogwarts Legacy, because this part trips a lot of people up when the door won’t open. The first thing you need to do is travel over to San Bakar Tower, and the fastest way is just using your broomstick. Once you’re there, you’ll be with Professor Fig and you’ll run into goblins—either use your hiding spell or just fight them straight up. The key step most people miss is grabbing the letter from Ranrok. You need to go to the side area and collect that letter first, because it triggers the next stage (and spawns more goblins). After that, head over to the door where Professor Fig will unlock it for you. If he’s not unlocking the door, it basically means you didn’t pick up the letter, so double-check that. From there, you’ll go up and speak to Percival Rackham, and then the actual entrance to the trial is down below—look for the ancient magic spot that lets you open the entrance. Once you interact with that, you’re in. That’s it—quick, no-fluff, and it gets you into the first trial without wasting time.
